Art Nordic 2026<\/strong> will be held March 13-15 at Terminal13 on the Copenhagen waterfront. <\/p>\n Opening hours: Our goal is to gather more than 10,000 guests and 60 artists and designers at Terminal13 in Copenhagen’s Nordhavn (the former Docken), where art unfolds across 2,600 m\u00b2 indoors – and continues in a vibrant outdoor area. Here, a street art work becomes a visible and unifying live element: All three exhibition days, Michael Wisniewski<\/strong> (Curator of Street Art & Urban Formats) works on the work in collaboration with the artist Rasmus Balstr\u00f8m<\/strong>. part of the approximately 60 exhibitors, Art Nordic 2026 introduces the Craft Circles<\/strong> format, where three artists in the same field are presented together (e.g. street art, goldsmiths, photography, paper, knitting and furniture design). The vision is to make visible the creative process behind craft and material-based practices: the choices, techniques and workflows that lead to the work. This gives the audience an insight that allows them to understand and view craft with the same attention to idea and process that we often associate with visual art.<\/p>\n Art Nordic works long-term to expand access to the professional exhibition scene. Works at the intersection of design and art, where design, function and aesthetics go hand in hand. The expression can be both conceptual and useful – and often driven by a clear idea. <\/p>\n
Three-dimensional and spatial works
Works that activate space and the audience: from classic sculpture to more spatial installations where the surroundings and movement through the exhibition become part of the experience.<\/p>\n
As a recurring initiative, Art Nordic sets aside six spaces<\/strong> each year at a special reduced price. In 2026, they are targeting para-art<\/strong>: art created by artists with physical or mental challenges.<\/p>\n
