Apside

Inspired by astronomy and the origin of the universe. That moment when matter, space and time were formed is very disturbing to the author. This is why Ápside was born, seeking to put into context the insignificance of our own existence and to unleash the eternal unanswered questions derived from this origin.
With this sculpture the artist explores more constructivist techniques than he is used to. The sharp forms that often appear in the artist’s work are used in a more massive form in this piece, giving a certain aggressiveness to the whole. At the same time, the use of other elements, such as pigments and lacquers, is more latent in this work, thus seeking more plasticity and expression.
