Applications for Art Nordic 2026 are now closed with the exception of:

Object and design art (furniture art, lighting and functional objects)

Sculpture and installation (three-dimensional and site-specific works)

Dear artists, sculptors, park artists, designers and galleries

We are thrilled with all your applications – it’s overwhelming how many people have applied – thank you so much!

And a big thank you for being so brave and helping to elevate Art Nordic 2026 under the theme
Phoenix – art in motion
.

Applications are now closed for all categories – except:

  • Object and design art (furniture art, lighting and functional objects)
  • Sculpture and installation (three-dimensional and site-specific works)

We will keep these two categories open until 23:59 on October 20.

Why: This is the first time Art Nordic invites these new disciplines on a larger scale. That’s why we’re making an extra effort and reaching out to visionary designers and artists who dare to stand out – including an extended application deadline.

The goal is a powerful, curious and well-curated presentation of works belonging to Floor Space, so that the exhibition stands strong and balanced across expressions.

All those who have already applied will be notified by November 1 whether they have been selected.

May the Light shine on us all.

You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been recorded.

How do I join Art Nordic?

Art Nordic exhibitions are curated. Therefore, you must apply to participate.

In the application, we will ask you to provide accurate images of your work, a description of your practice and motivation as an artist. It’s also a good idea to have a CV ready and to update your social media platforms and website.

How do you choose the artists for the exhibitions?

When selecting artworks for fairs and exhibitions, we work according to the following parameters:

Expression:
How does the work speak to the eye and the body?

Concept:
What is the idea behind the work?

Technique
: Does the work show technical skill?

Invitation:
Does the work open up to the cropper?

References:
Does the work reach out to other artworks or cultural phenomena?

Materiality:
How do the materials of the work appear?

Accountability:
Does the work speak to the UN Sustainable Development Goals?

These parameters are not criteria that the work must meet completely. In the composition of the artistic program, we also emphasize diversity among the artists.

Can I get free tickets to Art Nordic as an exhibitor?

As an exhibitor, you will receive 70 free admission tickets.

How do I set up my art?

The art must be hung with screws in the wall. Exhibitors are responsible for doing this themselves.

How do I transport my art into the exhibition?

We have up to several hand trucks and trolleys that Art Nordic makes available inside the exhibition.

Who are the visitors

Art-Nordic attracts a wide variety of visitors who are interested in art. We see many private individuals but also galleries and art associations from home and abroad. And art fair representatives from many parts of the world who also follow art trends in search of unique, high-quality art at a reasonable price. Among those who have invited themselves in the past are Hearst Publishing and Sotheby’s from London.

Why is the price different for para art?

To ensure equal access, we offer co-financing for six para-art spaces. This means that you as an exhibitor pay a contribution of DKK 3,000 + VAT (corresponding to 25% of the regular stand price of DKK 12,000), while the remaining 75% is co-financed by Art Nordic, foundations and partners.

What does the co-financing cover?
The co-financing covers the remaining part of the stand price and is established to remove financial barriers so that more strong artistic voices can become part of the curated exhibitor field.

What does it cost to join?

Prices for fairs and exhibitions vary depending on the size of the event, the number of artists involved and the program.

Wall Space: The price for 3 walls of 3×3 meters is 12,000 DKK excluding VAT.

Floor Space: Available for purchase: S, M, L, XL from 8,000 – 24,000+ DKK excl.

The payment deadline after approval is 10 days.

How big are the stand walls?

Each stand is allocated 3 sides of 3 meters in width and 3 meters in height.

The walls are white and of high quality. Each stand comes with 3 spotlights.

Are there lights at my stand?

There are 3 spots included in the price. If you want more, please contact us at

Refund

We do not refund money when there is less than 2 months to an event. In case of cancellation by Art Nordic, the full amount minus administration fee will be refunded.

What about insurance?

It is the exhibitor’s own insurance that covers the works during Art Nordic’s exhibitions.

Catering

During the exhibition, a food trolley will drive around to the exhibitors. Here we offer coffee/tea, water, fresh fruit and a healthy snack – all at no extra charge. We know that the days can be long and that it’s often difficult to leave your stand, so we come to you. The service is included in the stand price.

In addition, coffee, water, beer, beer, wine, sandwiches and light snacks are sold at the stalls.

Your profit

100% of what you sell is yours. Art-Nordic does not charge you for the art you sell before, during or after the annual art fair.
