About the exhibition:

For ARTUNITES, Art Nordic brings together over 50 artists in Volume and GAME in Vesterbro. ARTUNITES is a celebration of community and solidarity through art. There will be food trucks, activities and festival vibes in the courtyard outside the exhibition area.

Date: The exhibition will be held September 1-3, 2023

Location: Volume and GAME at Enghavevej 80, 2450 Copenhagen SV.

Opening hours for visitors are:

Friday September 1: 16:00 – 19:00 – Early Access

Saturday September 2: 10:00 – 18:00

Sunday September 3: 10:00 – 16:00

Access for artists:

August 31: 14:00-19:00

September 1: 10:00-14:00

If you are considering exhibiting at ARTUNITES or have already secured a booth, read on to find answers to your questions

How do I become an exhibitor at ARTUNITES?
Apply here to join ARTUNITES. In the application, we will ask for accurate images of your artworks, a description of your practice and motivation as an artist. It is also a good idea to have a CV ready and to update your social media and website. There are two options for purchasing a booth:
3+1 meters: 810 EUR + VAT

6+2 meters: 1,351 EUR + VAT

Where does ARTUNITES take place?

The exhibition will be held September 1-3, 2023 in Volume and GAME at Enghavevej 80, 2450 Copenhagen SV. The two rooms are located directly opposite each other.

Volume is a 700 square meter old tram depot that embraces industrial history and raw expression. You can read more about Volume here.

GAME is an international non-profit organization that combines street sports and street culture with social purposes. You can learn more about GAME here.

Does Art Nordic take a percentage of my sold works?

No. 100% of what you sell is yours. Art Nordic does not take payment for the art you sell before, during or after the exhibition.

What is an Art Nordic artist profile?

Once you have purchased a stand at Art Nordic, you have the option to create an artist profile on the Art Nordic website. You are able to write about yourself and your artworks and add photos of your art. This way, visitors can get an overview and make a note in advance if they need to keep an extra eye on you.

In your welcome email, you have received a link and a login to the page where you can create your artist profile.

Can I get free tickets?

Entrance price for visitors is 95,- DKK in pre-sale and 115,- DKK at the entrance. However, you do have the option to hand out 70 free tickets. You can give them away to family, friends and acquaintances or create competitions on your social media to give them away.

You will receive a code for your free tickets two months before the exhibition.

What about insurance?

It is exhibitor’s own insurance, which covers the artworks throughout the exhibition.

What can I achieve with my participation?

Of course, it’s always great to sell your work at the exhibition, but consider whether you could also have other goals for your participation, such as expanding your professional network, getting feedback on the target audience, price and your work, promoting yourself as an artist, establishing new customer relationships, etc.

How can I promote my participation?

We encourage you to fill out your artist profile on the Art Nordic website, promote your participation on your social media and invite customers, networks, friends and family.

When can I prepare my booth?

You can set up the day before the exhibition or on the first day of the exhibition before guests arrive. You can do this within the following period of time:

August 31: 14:00-19:00

September 1: 10:00-14:00

Friday September 1 at 15:00, the first VIP visitors will arrive, so it’s important that your booth is ready by this time.

Where can I park and unload my art?

When you turn onto Enghavevej 80, there is a courtyard where you can unload your artworks. There is only space for a few cars at a time. Therefore, please drive out of the courtyard as soon as your artworks are unloaded.

There are several parking spaces along Enghavevej. If you are unable to find one, we will direct you to other public parking lots in the area. Unfortunately, Art Nordic does not have parking spaces available.

How do I transport my art from the car to the venue?
There will be a few trolleys and sack trucks available to transport the art from the cars into the exhibition spaces.
What is the size of my booth?

The stand walls are 2.4 meters high and 3+1 meters or 6+2 meters wide depending on the type of stand you have booked.

What can I use to hang up my artwork?

Works must be hung with adhesive nails or wires/hooks. If you wish to install with nails, please contact Art Nordic at .

There will be chairs and ladders available to stand on for hanging.

What is included in my booth?

Included in your stand is lighting as well as online promotion and visibility leading up to and after the exhibition. It is possible to rent a chair.

Can I decorate my booth?

You are welcome to decorate your booth for example with a small table and a plant. Just be aware to stay inside your own booth. Please also note that the gable sides of your booth may not be used for hanging up art.

Is it possible to buy food and drinks during the exhibition?

It is possible to buy food during the exhibition, but you must bring your own food and drinks, when you prepare your booth.

Where do I put the packaging for my artwork?

Once you have unpacked your artwork, you are welcome to store cardboard and plastic in a room at GAME. However, please note that the room will not be locked, so it is at your own risk.

What does the art program look like?
During the weekend, there will be a art-program of different events. It is good to know the art-program as after an event there may be a larger stream of people walking around looking at your art.
The program will be published on Art Nordics website and will be updated continuesly.
Can the customer take home the sold artworks immediately?
Yes. You’re welcome to do so. However, you don’t want your stand to appear empty, so it’s a good idea to bring a number of extra pieces to hang up when you sell.
Do I have to be present at the exhibition?
Yes. It is very important that you are present during the entire exhibition and do not leave your booth for an extended period of time. The artists who are present and approachable typically sell the best.
Can my buyer pack their artwork?

Once you’ve sold a piece, you can invite the buyer to go to the packing table, where there will be

bubble wrap and cardboard


to secure the pieces when customers need to transport them home.
When can I pack up my art?
Only when the fair ends on Sunday at 16:00. Then you have two hours to pack your art. It is very important that no one packs up their art before closing time, as it will not be an optimal experience for the guests who have purchased admission to see the exhibition at this time.
What can be nice to keep in mind before an exhibition?

It’s a good idea to have a business card with your contact details and social media. Alternatively, you can create an A4-document with some info about you and your contact details and hang it up on the booth.

Think about how you want your booth to look visually and perhaps make a plan for how hang up your artworks. Furthermore, it also gives a more coherent look if you make sure to frame your paintings.

Make sure you are available at your booth if visitors have questions about your technique or you as an artist. It can be an important for your sale and remember that many visitors find it interesting to meet the artist behind the artwork.

It is possible to buy food for the exhibition, but it’s a good idea to bring some food/snacks that are quick and easy to eat, such as biscuits, carrots and nuts.

Remember to take some good photos for your social media and website so that your followers can see how your artworks look at exhibitions.
Can I get a refund?

We do not refund money when an event is less than two months away. In the event of cancellation on Art Nordic’s part, the full amount minus the administration fee will be refunded.
