Art Nordic 2026: Art in motion – a new chapter begins
One of the largest art exhibitions in the Nordic region, Art Nordic is entering a new era with a strong vision for the future art scene. Under the theme “Phoenix – art in motion”, the 2026 fair will invite artists, designers and the public into a creative laboratory where the boundaries between art forms dissolve and new formats take shape.
With the ambition to break the ceiling of creativity, Art Nordic 2026 will offer:
Curated interior spaces
Here, visual art meets handmade furniture, lighting, textiles and design objects in carefully curated total experiences that bring art close to everyday spaces.
Para art zones
New inclusive platforms provide space for artists who challenge convention and bring audiences closer to alternative narratives and different ways of working.
Live workshops and talks
Audiences will have access to open workshops where art is created live and to talks about materials, processes, sustainability and artistic working life.
Experimental installations and audience involvement
The fair will be a space for interdisciplinary experimentation and interaction between artists, designers and visitors.
New goals for Art Nordic
Behind the vision is artist Lina Murel Jardorf, who has now taken over Art Nordic. With over 35 years of professional experience in the international art scene, her goal is to develop the fair into a dynamic and bold platform for established artists, young talents and creative collaborations across genres:
“Art Nordic should be a place where art is not just seen, but felt and lived. Where you go home with new perspectives, inspiration for your home, collection and thoughts – and the desire to return again,” says Lina Murel Jardorf.”
Art Nordic 2026 is held at Terminal13 in Copenhagen’s Nordhavn (formerly Docken), where art unfolds across 5,000 m² – 2,600 m² indoors with lots of raw, creative energy and a vibrant outdoor areawhere the experiences continue under the open sky. In the outdoor area, guests meet tiny houseswhere we create environments with the exhibited art.
With increased international reach, new audience formats and a curated field of 80-100 stands, Art Nordic 2026 will be a hub for one of the Nordic region’s most dynamic art and design communities.

Dialogue and development
Art Nordic works with artists, organisations and professionals to examine art’s influence on people and societies.
We believe that art can strengthen communities. That’s why we create events and projects where artists and art participants can come together to develop the role and potential of art.
Business development for artists
To succeed in our purpose, it is crucial for Art Nordic that we can help our artists sell their art to a diverse and broad audience.
That’s why we work hard to market our artists and provide advice on how artists can develop their brands and scale their businesses.

Frameworks and platforms
Art Nordic plays an active role in the Nordic art scene by creating frameworks and platforms for the development of relational and performative art.
We see art and aesthetics as important drivers in society. Art allows us to see the world from new perspectives, expand our imagination and communicate complex issues and emotions when words are not enough.
Talent development in the Nordics
Art Nordic takes pride in contributing to the development of talent in the Nordic art scene. Through our talent program Art Next, we give companies, organizations and art associations the opportunity to help young talents between the ages of 15 and 35 develop their artistic work and exhibit to a larger audience.
The Art Next program is developed in collaboration with Monday Studio.
