Become Part of Art Nordic 2027
Would you like to gain experience in art, design and events – and be part of what happens behind the scenes as Art Nordic 2027 comes to life?
We are looking for committed volunteers who would like to contribute their skills, ideas and energy – both in the months leading up to Art Nordic and during the exhibition itself at Østerbrohuset.
These are not full-time positions. The scope and tasks will be agreed individually, so the role can fit alongside studies, work or other commitments.
You do not need to be able to do everything. What matters most to us is that you are responsible, friendly, service-minded and good at working with others. And if you also have good ideas, can keep an overview and are willing to take responsibility, we would very much like to hear from you.
Volunteer Project Coordinator
Are you good at keeping an overview – and even better at making things happen?
We are looking for a volunteer project coordinator who would like to take part in planning Art Nordic 2027.
Tasks may include coordinating with artists, partners and volunteers, following up on agreements and helping with practical tasks in the lead-up to the exhibition.
We imagine that you:
- work in a structured way and can keep track of many details
- take initiative and are comfortable making decisions
- communicate in a friendly and professional manner
- would like to contribute ideas and help develop Art Nordic
- ideally have experience in art, culture, design or events – although this is not a requirement
ou will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in event and project coordination and become part of the team behind a major art exhibition.
Volunteer Graphic Designer & Social Media Content Creator
Do you have an eye for visuals – and can you turn a good idea into content that works on both a website and social media?
We are looking for a creative volunteer who can help with graphic materials, updates to our WordPress website, as well as posts and reels for social media.
Ideally, you have a good sense of design, imagery, video and storytelling – and enjoy contributing your own ideas.
It is an advantage if you:
- have experience with graphic design or content creation
- are familiar with WordPress and Elementor
- can work with Instagram/Facebook, including posts and reels
- have an eye for a consistent visual identity
- are interested in art, design and culture
You will have the opportunity to work with communication for a real art and design event and create content that will be published across Art Nordic’s platforms.
Volunteer Event Coordinator
Can you keep an overview when there are lots of people, questions and tasks to handle at the same time?
During Art Nordic 2027, we are looking for volunteer event coordinators who can help ensure that everything runs smoothly at Østerbrohuset.
You will be one of the people artists, visitors and volunteers can turn to when something needs to be solved.
We are looking for someone who:
- is good with people and naturally service-minded
- can remain calm and keep an overview
- takes responsibility and can make practical decisions
- is solution-oriented
- thrives in an environment where not everything necessarily goes according to plan
Experience from events, culture, hospitality or similar fields is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Volunteer Event Assistants
Would you like to be right where everything is happening?
We are looking for volunteer assistants for Art Nordic 2027 at Østerbrohuset.
Tasks may include welcoming and assisting visitors and artists, helping with the cloakroom and information desk, carrying out practical tasks and providing support throughout the exhibition.
The most important thing is that you are welcoming, helpful and motivated to give both visitors and artists a good experience.
You do not need previous experience from art fairs or events – but an interest in art, design and people is definitely a plus.
Practical Volunteer – Setup & Dismantling
Are you the type who would rather pick up a power drill than sit through another meeting?
Then we could use your help.
We are looking for practical volunteers to assist with the setup and dismantling of Art Nordic 2027.
Tasks will include mounting, moving, hanging, measuring, adjusting and finding practical solutions so that Østerbrohuset is ready for artists and visitors.
You will be a good fit if you:
- are practically minded
- are comfortable using a hammer, power drill and standard tools
- can work independently
- see solutions rather than problems
- would like to be part of the team behind the exhibition
You do not need to be a professional tradesperson – but you should enjoy practical work.
Do You Have Other Skills?
Perhaps you do not fit exactly into one of the roles above, but you have experience, ideas or a network within art, design, events, communication, culture or another area that could be relevant to Art Nordic.
We would still very much like to hear from you.
Tell us briefly about yourself, what you are good at and how you would like to contribute to Art Nordic 2027.
