Welcome to Art Nordic 2027
The Dove of Peace · Art Builds Bridges
We look forward to welcoming you as an exhibitor at Art Nordic 2027, taking place 5–7 March at Østerbrohuset, Copenhagen.
Art Nordic is a curated art and design exhibition where different artistic expressions come together across visual art, sculpture, craft, objects and design.
This year’s shared theme is The Dove of Peace – Art Builds Bridges.
On this page, we will continuously update the practical information you will need as an exhibitor in the lead-up to the exhibition.
“Art should not be hidden away – it should be seen, felt and reflected in others. Only then does it truly come to life.”
– Lina Murel Jardorf, artist and owner of Art Nordic

This year’s sponsored spaces – artists aged 75+
Each year, Art Nordic reserves six sponsored spaces for a group of artists who may find it more difficult to gain space and visibility on the art scene.
In 2027, the sponsored spaces will be awarded to artists aged 75 and over.
Art Nordic covers 75% of the standard exhibition space fee, while the selected artist pays the remaining 25%.
The six artists are selected through the same curatorial process as the exhibition’s other participants.
Curating 2027
Art Nordic is a curated exhibition.
In 2027, Ole Winther is responsible for the overall curation and selection of this year’s artists and designers.
The curatorial process aims to create an exhibition defined by artistic quality, diversity and coherence across different art forms.
All applicants will receive a response by email after the curatorial process, whether or not they are offered a place.
What if I have questions or changes?
You are always welcome to contact us at [email protected]
Why do I have to pay VAT when I am an exhibitor from abroad?
Art Nordic is held in Denmark, and therefore the event is subject to Danish legislation – including Danish VAT legislation.
According to the rules, 25% Danish VAT must be charged on the invoice for stand rental, regardless of whether the exhibitor is from Denmark or another country. This is because the service (the stand space) is physically supplied in Denmark, and therefore Danish VAT applies – also for exhibitors from e.g. Norway, Sweden or other countries outside the EU.
Can foreign companies reclaim VAT?
Yes – if you have a registered VAT number in your home country and operate as a business, you may in some cases be able to reclaim Danish VAT through the official VAT refund schemes. Art Nordic refers you to the Danish Tax Agency, where you can check whether you are eligible for a VAT refund.
